New CBD Shop Opens In Downtown New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, CT — A new cannabidiol shop opened over the weekend on Elm Street in New Canaan.

Called Your CBD Store, the shop sells a full line of CBD (cannabidiol) products that can help with pain relief and other health needs.

It is part of a national chain of CBD stores with 24 other Your CBD Store locations in Connecticut, including Norwalk, Greenwich and Black Rock. The New Canaan store is owned by West Norwalk resident Anthony Pisano, writes the New Canaan Advertiser.

In the past month, another CBD chain of stores, Franny's Farmacy, opened a new CBD store on Church Lane in Westport.

"Cannabinoids are a set of compounds found in industrial hemp," the store states on its website. "Your CBD Store™ products are made using only the high quality grown hemp from the USA. This phytocannabinoid-rich hemp has a naturally high cannabinoid level, and an abundance of other cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, CBC), as well as flavonoids, and terpenes."

Though it derives from hemp, which comes from marijuana, CBD is legal and does not contain the compounds from marijuana that makes people high.
