Connecticut Weather: New Details About New Nor'easter Impacts
A third nor'easter will move toward CT early next week and there is new information today about its potential impacts.

Connecticut is still reeling from its second nor'easter in recent weeks and there is concern about a third nor-easter taking aim at the state Monday and Tuesday. The National Weather Service said this morning that "another storm may impact the area early next week." A Hazardous Weather Outlook has already been issued for Hartford and Tolland counties for the chance the storm may bring "accumulating snow" to the area.
But Fox 61's Matt Scott offers us some good news Friday morning. He said after reviewing new data it now appears that the storm is more likely to be a miss, and if it were to impact us it would just be a glancing blow. Of course we know the track is volatile and can change quickly. More than 57,000 Connecticut residents are still without power Friday morning as a result of our most recent nor'easter.
From @themattcast: A lot of people asking about Monday - right now signs point to a miss for another Nor'easter. The American GFS model says a glancing blow, but the Euro is trending to a miss. pic.twitter.com/vRxsGOs6mv

As for the present time, snow showers are expected today in parts of Connecticut, and there could be some heavy snow squalls in northern Connecticut, which could lead to brief moments of white-out conditions, the weather service says. No major accumulation is expected, and the snow showers will be hit and miss.
