A historic home in New Canaan will be saved from demolition.
NEW CANAAN--One New Canaan home rich in history will be spared from demolition thanks to a a group of residents.
The 8 Ferris Hill Road Group, consisting of local preservationists and residents, raised enough money to start the purchasing process, according to an article in the New Canaanite.
The home, built in 1735 and located on over two acres on Ferris Hill, will now be saved from being demolished, according to the New Canaanite.
