Connecticut Weather Forecast: Some Rain, Thunderstorms Likely On Memorial Day
It's definitely not going to be beach weather on Memorial Day and you may want to keep an umbrella nearby too if you're headed to a parade.

With many people having outdoor plans this Memorial Day weekend including barbecues, ceremonies and parades, here’s a detailed look at weather conditions for the entire holiday weekend in Connecticut.
Overall, the good news is we’re not expecting any prolonged period of rain but we’re also not expecting a ton of sunshine either. Temps will also remain relatively cool as well. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm are expected on Memorial Day but at least the good news is it won’t be a soaking rain like we’ve been used to over the past couple of months. But the showers could be falling during the parades Monday, according to Connecticut meteorologists. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. On Sunday, expect more sun than clouds and temps again in the 60s to near 70 degrees. “It’ll be a nice day for any outdoor activities that you may have planned,” WFSB 3 TV wrote.

News 8 says clouds begin to build Saturday afternoon after morning sunshine and on Sunday they are predicting more clouds than sun too.
Fox 61 Meteorologists add "there could be some timing issues with the arrival time of the rain for Memorial Day observances, picnics and barbecues. Don’t cancel any outdoor plans just yet, a lot can change in the day or two with this unsettled weather pattern; but at least have a back-up plan ready in case some rain moves over your house."
