NEW CANAAN, CT — Legendary musician and songwriter Paul Simon, and his wife, singer-songwriter Edie Brickell, have listed their 32-acre New Canaan estate for sale for for $13.9 million, reports Architectural Digest.

The stunning home, which has six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and five fireplaces, features a beautiful park-like setting, and though the asking price is nearly $14 million, it could be considered a bargain.

The price represents a 16 percent drop from the $16.5 million Simon purchased it for in 2002. Earlier this month, another popular music icon, mogul Tommy Mottola, also sold his Greenwich estate for a discount at about $14.9 million.

Simon and Brickell raised their three children in the New Canaan home, which is located on a quiet cul-de-sac not far from downtown. The kids have moved out, prompting the couple to decide to downsize, writes Mansion Global.
