New Canaan applied for and received an arrest warrant charging him with second-degree assault, second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and first-degree unlawful restraint. With Stamford police present (a standard policy), New Canaan police arrested Hoberman at his home on Austin Avenue in Stamford.
