Police Review Domestic Incident To See if Charges are Warranted

New Canaan Police are reviewing a domestic dispute—filed as a sexual offense on the department's police blotter—to determine whether an investigation into the incident is warranted.

The incident was reported at a Kimberly Place residence on Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 11:35 p.m.

On Jan. 5, a resident of Toby's Lane reported to police a purse had been stolen from their home. It was later discovered the purse was in a washing machine at the residence. No crime occurred.
