Real Estate Agent Joins William Pitt Sotheby’s In New Canaan

Indira Christie has more than 25 years of expertise in business and marketing.

NEW CANAAN, CT - From William Pitt Sotheby's: William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that real estate agent Indira Christie has joined the firm and will be based in the New Canaan, Conn., brokerage. With an extensive background in the marketing industry, Christie brings a client based approach to the company.

“Indira’s exceptional business and marketing background, coupled with her first-hand knowledge of New Canaan and the surrounding areas, will serve our clients extremely well,” said Bill Larkin, manager of William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s New Canaan brokerage. “She is a great asset and I am excited that she has joined the firm.”

Christie brings over 25 years of expertise in consumer and digital marketing and client management to her real estate focus. Her marketing background includes executive positions with Kraft Foods and Bristol-Myers Squibb, strategic marketing consulting with The Cambridge Group, and more recently as an independent consultant. As founder of the e-commerce footwear company Ripa Wear, Christie brings valuable entrepreneurial sales and e-commerce experience.

“My business approach is client-centric with analytics and strategy playing an integral role,” Christine said. “I work with the client to thoroughly understand and crystallize their wants/needs, create a tailored business plan and engage search and marketing tools to meet them. I’ve enjoyed a vibrant career of creating very successful products and services by understanding the need and strategically marketing them to a target consumer profile. I look forward to working with clients to match buyers to the home that best meets their lifestyle and conversely strategize with sellers to optimize the sale of their home.”

Christie earned an MBA in marketing and finance from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College, where she also attended MIT Sloan School of Management. She and her husband, Patrick, have lived in Connecticut for nearly 30 years and in New Canaan for 24, where they raised their family and were actively involved in the academic and athletic community.
