Sales agents attend 'East Meets West' conference; Firm announces new listing.
Sales agents from William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty New Canaan brokerage recently attended the East Meets West Manhattan Luxury Real Estate Connect conference sponsored by the Asian Real Estate Association of America.
The all-day event held on Nov. 2 at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City, covered various global real estate topics including the rise of Asian economies, and in turn, Asian investors, and how this impacts the current luxury market. New Canaan agents Leslie Razook and Inger Stringfellow attended the conference with client, Linda Xu.
“Participating in this event was a tremendously interesting and useful experience,” said Razook. “The quality of speakers and topics were exceptional, and it was truly helpful to gain insights into how to be of greatest assistance to clients from this emerging luxury market.”

William Pitt also has announced that it has listed the 13,526 square foot Gardiner Larson designed home at 712 Oenoke Ridge Rd. The stone and shingle-style Colonial home, which has six bedrooms, seven full baths and two half-baths was updated about three years ago by Done White of Connecticut Homes, Specimen gardens with expansive terraces that have been featured in regional garden tours as well as various publications complete the four-acre property. It’s listed by New Canaan agents Carol Hollyday and Rita Kirby, and offered at $7.995 million.
