Road Work Closes Lane on Merritt from Greenwich to Norwalk

Road work will close a northbound lane on Rt. 15 from Exit 31 in Greenwich through Stamford and New Canaan to Exit 37 in Norwalk.

Road work has closed the left lane on the northbound-traffic side of the Merritt Parkway, Rt. 15, from Exit 31 in Greenwich to Exit 37 in Norwalk, the Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced.

The lane is expected to stay closed until 6 a.m., the announcement said.

The department also announced roadwork between Exit 37 and 38 in Norwalk that will close the right lane on the northbound-traffic side. In Stamford, southbound traffic will have a lane closure between Exits 37 and 34. All the work is expected to stop, with lanes expected to reopen, by 6 a.m., the department said.

The lane will be closed in parts of Greenwich and Norwalk and all along the highway in Stamford and New Canaan, according to information in the announcement, posted Monday evening on a state Department of Transportation Web page.
