Secret Service Issues Warning About Fake $100 Bills

The U.S. Secret Service has issued an alert via local police about fake $100 bills are circulating in the area.

The fake bills have serial numbers:

  • DB016240_ _A
  • DB124240_ _A
  • DJ863653_ _A
  • DJ663653_ _A
  • FL993241_ _B
The reverse side of the fake Benjamins also have the number 77 located in the lower right corner, just about the bill's denomination.

The Secret Service advises that anyone who receives a fake bill to contact their New Haven office at 203-865-2449 and their local police department.
