Silvermine Hosts Children's Halloween Party Oct. 21
The Annual Silvermine School of Art Children's Halloween Art party will give kids a wildly creative afternoon of art, sweet treats and more.

NEW CANAAN, CT - From Silvermine Arts Center: On Sunday afternoon, October 21, from 2-4 pm, the Annual Silvermine School of Art Children’s Halloween Art party will give kids a wildly creative afternoon of art, sweet treats, games and a Halloween parade around the campus. All ages are welcome.
Silvermine School of Art teachers Marta Violette Kot, Lisa Scroggins, Wendy MacCordy, Jessica Hughes, Caroline Weihs, Inez Andrucyk, and Jon Puzzuoli will guide children in creative mask making, clay skull making, and glow-in-the-dark spin-art design and painting. Kids will also paint a mural inspired by the season and enjoy a performance by puppeteer, Adelka Polak. For each child, there will be sweet treats, a Halloween movie, a goodie bag, and lots of Halloween art projects to bring home. This is always a popular
event; please call or register ahead of time (silvermineart.org) so the staff can have plenty of art supplies for each child’s projects. Tickets are $20 per child. Costumes are optional. An adult must accompany children, but the adults enter free. Call the Silvermine School of Art office 203-966-6668, ext. 2, to register. Walk-ins are also welcome.
