Teen Struck By Vehicle In New Canaan: Police
Police said a 15-year-old was struck by a vehicle while trying to cross the street in New Canaan over the weekend.
NEW CANAAN, CT — A 15-year-old was struck by a vehicle late Friday night while trying to cross a road in New Canaan, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Jason Ferraro said officers, along with New Canaan EMS and town firefighters, were called to Richmond Hill Road around 10:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a pedestrian having been struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian, a 15-year-old female, was found sitting on the grass along the road, Ferraro said.

According to Ferraro, the teen said she was on Marshall Ridge Road and attempted to cross Richmond Hill Road when she hit by a vehicle, which was traveling westbound on Richmond Hill Road.
The teen was take to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation and treatment of minor injuries, Ferraro said. No arrests have been made at this time, Ferraro said.
