Thieves Hit 2 Homes, 'Multiple Vehicles' In New Canaan, Cops Say
The thefts occurred during the overnight hours from Wednesday into Thursday morning.
NEW CANAAN, CT — Two homes and "multiple vehicles" in the Sunrise Avenue/Marshall Ridge Road areas in New Canaan were burglarized in the past 24 hours, according to New Canaan police.
The break-ins occurred between 7 p.m. on Wednesday and 7 a.m. on Thursday, and all of them appeared to have one thing in common.
"Entries were made through unlocked doors and various items were stolen," police officials wrote on the department's Facebook page. "Please remember to set your alarms, lock your doors, windows and vehicles."

Last month, New Canaan police warned residents to lock their vehicles because burglars and thieves had returned to the town.
Anyone with any information, or surveillance video footage, from Wednesday night/Thursday morning in those locations is urged to contact Officer Lopez at 203-594-3500 and reference case number #19-8422.
