Warning Issued Following Continued Coyote Sightings In New Canaan
"Residents should be alert on the roadways and protect their pets from possible encounters with Buck and Coyote."
NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Animal Control Department is warning residents to stay alert on the roads and on their properties for coyotes and deer, due to an increased level of activity by the two animals this time of year.
While deer sightings are routine in New Canaan, and in many Connecticut communities, coyotes are a little less common, but the number of sightings and attacks have picked up in town over the past several months.
