Winter Weather Advisory Now Issued For New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, CT — The National Weather Service has issued the following "Winter Weather Advisory" for southern Fairfield County from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, due to a pending snow storm:

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on snow covered roads, including during the evening commute. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
