Woman Arrested for Assaulting Husband

A 34-year-old New Canaan woman was charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree following a domestic incident at her home on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 11:36 p.m., according to Sgt. Carol Ogrinc.

The suspect got into a "heated verbal argument" with her husband, police said. The argument escalated, and she allegedly scratched her husband's arm and pulled his hair.

She was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in court on  Sept. 20.
