2 Suffer 'Severe' Injuries After Double-Stabbing At Eatery: PD
Newington Police say four people were injured including two people who were stabbed.
NEWINGTON, CT — Two people suffered "severe" injuries in a double-stabbing incident that occurred inside a restaurant, police say. At 2:44 a.m. Saturday, Newington Police officers responded to Plaza Azteca, 3260 Berlin Turnpike, for an assault.
Police said two people entered a local hospital with "severe, but non-life-threatening stab wounds" and that the "incident most likely took place at this establishment."
Police say they believe the assault occurred at 2 a.m. and involved numerous people. Four people in total were injured. Newington Police are looking for witnesses to this incident.
