Amtrak Train Collides With Truck In Newington, Injuries Reported
The Friday morning incident happened on Stamm Road.

NEWINGTON, CT — An Amtrak train hit a maintenance truck in Newington Friday at around 11:30 a.m. on Stamm Road, NBC CT reported. The train was traveling north when the accident occurred, according to WFSB.
Two people in the truck were able to get out before the collision. Sixty-four people were on the train and minor injuries are being reported, according to WFSB.
The train was scheduled to arrive in Springfield at noon but has been canceled.
