Armed Robbers Hit Newington Store, Pistol Whip Employees
Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Newington store.
NEWINGTON, CT — Police are investigating following an armed robbery in Newington Friday night, according to a police statement. The crime occurred at the AT&T store at 3243 Berlin Turnpike at 7:35 p.m.
According to police, three masked men armed with handguns forced entry into the store and pistol whipped two store employees.
The men fled the store after taking merchandise. The store employees sustained non-life-threatening injuries and one employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspects are described as all wearing facemasks. One suspect wore a black knit style mask with a pom pom on top.
The second wore a white full-face mask with a skull on it. This suspect was described as having dark twisted hair.

The third was described as wearing a black shiny mask. The suspects were wearing all black clothing.
