Christian Negron of Middlewoods Awarded Humanitarian Award

Middlewoods of Newington Independent and Assisted Living is proud to announce that Christian Negron, staff member at Middlewoods, has been selected for the 2017 Humanitarian Award by the Connecticut Assisted Living Association (CALA).

Christian was honored at the 22nd Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner and presented this prestigious award for his personal integrity, decency, and contributions to the elderly.

Christian joined the Middlewoods team in October of 2015 as a driver. Over the past 2 years, Christian has become an exemplary team member and is known as the “Yes I can” employee. He has worked in the transportation department, dining department, and is now a full-time housekeeper. He is the type of employee who gives so generously of his time and his heart, with a gentle smile and the most infectious laugh of any employee in the whole community. Christian is quite versatile and helps in every department, displaying a calm and can-do attitude. He shares a hearty laugh with everyone and his smiles are abundant throughout the day.

Because of employees like Christian, Middlewoods’ residents never feel the bumps in the road; their world is uninterrupted and they enjoy a pleasant environment. Congratulations, Christian!
