An overwhelming feeling of LOVE for the Veterans was displayed at the 9th Annual Iwo Jima Survivors Victory Ride hosted by Gary and Anne Roy. The volunteers did such a great job in making it all happen and getting it ready on time. The event started with a breakfast, entertainment, The Dames For Soldiers, and many displays of WWII memorabilia. There were also many donated gifts for raffles during the event. There was also a Poker Run for motorcyclists who are always supporting Americas heroes. The WWII veterans were escorted to the Iwo Jima Memorial on the Newington and New Britian city line then returned for Lunch and Recognition by the Volunteers!
