It's a Three-Peat For Newington Boys Volleyball Squad
The Indians captured their third straight Class M championship with a 3-1 victory over Cheshire.

SHELTON, CT — After dropping the first set by a healthy margin in the Class M boys volleyball finals Thursday night, Newington must have wondering if it had what it took to win a third consecutive championship.
That speculation ended soon thereafter, as the top-seeded Indians swept the next three games for a 3-1 victory over No. 2 Cheshire.
Game scores were 16-25, 25-16, 25-19 and 25-22.
