Labor Day 2018: What's Open, Closed In Newington
Here are the closings to be aware of during the end-of-summer holiday.
NEWINGTON, CT — Whether you're ready or not, the unofficial end of summer is approaching. The Labor Day holiday weekend might be some consolation for the end of your summer relaxation, but that means some services will be shut down for the long weekend of Sept. 1-3.
Newington Town Hall, the Lucy Robbins Welles Library and other town facilities will be closed for Labor Day. Trash and recycling with be delayed one day. The landfill will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
