Middlewoods of Newington Wins “Best of Newington” Award Four Years in a Row!

Middlewoods of Newington Independent and Assisted Living Community was the proud recipient of another “Best of Newington” award for the fourth year in a row. Residents of the local community cast ballots and chose this award-winning community as the “Best Senior Care Provider” in Newington. At the Chamber of Commerce’s “Best of Newington” Annual Awards Dinner, held at the Indian Hill Country Club, Middlewoods was acknowledged and received this prestigious award.

The award-winning community celebrated 14 years at their Newington location in March of 2017 and completed a 2.5 million dollar renovation and expansion project in the summer of 2014. Middlewoods of Newington is affiliated with the UConn Health Center and is owned and operated by United Methodist Homes (Shelton, CT), a local, mission-based organization, with a 140-year legacy of caring for seniors.
