More Than 100 Vehicles Broken Into In Newington, Cops Say

The break-ins occurred on Kitts Lane between Berlin Turnpike and Griswoldville Avenue, according to Newington police.

NEWINGTON, CT — More than 100 vehicles were burglarized in Newington during the overnight hours between Tuesday and Wednesday morning, and police are asking for the public's help in finding the culprits.

The break-ins occurred at businesses and condominium complexes on Kitts Lane between Berlin Turnpike and Griswoldville Avenue, according to police.

"Many of the vehicles had items stolen from them," Newington police wrote on Twitter. "The majority of the vehicles had windows smashed to gain entry."
