Newington 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

NEWINGTON, CT – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Newington so you can start planning now.

What: Newington's 4th of July fireworks Extravaganza

Where: Mill Pond Park

When: Saturday, July 20 (fireworks are set off around 9 p.m.)

Summary: The Newington Parks and Recreation Department oversees the Extravaganza, which is scheduled to start on Wednesday, July 17th, 2019 and end on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 with the largest fireworks show ever seen in Newington.

This event attracts over 40,000 people each year and continues to grow in popularity. They are excited to offer all of the popular activities we have provided in years past as well as some fun, new ones that they know will get you and your family excited.

Some of the events you won't want to miss are the Craft Beer Tasting, live bands, helicopter rides, carnival, food truck festival, arts and crafts festival, and more.
