Newington Announces Upcoming Overnight Parking Ban
The ban will help with winter storm cleanup.
NEWINGTON, CT — Newington Police will begin enforcing the overnight parking ban in town starting Nov. 1. Vehicles won't be able to park for more than 30 minutes on any street between the hours of 2 and 6 a.m.
The ordinance helps make sure that plowing and sanding is effective during winter storms.
Those who need an exception for the ordinance due to an emergency situation can contact police at 860-666-8445 ext. 6114.
