The couple is expecting a baby soon and decided to sell off their company for seven-figures.

NEWINGTON, CT — A Newington couple decided to outright sell their company to Daymond John on the ABC show "Shark Tank."
Alyssa and Zach Brown invented the Moki Door Step to help short people reach the top of their vehicles for items tied to the roof. The item retails for $44.95, has a 400-pound weight capacity and is a universal fit for all vehicles. Zach works as a paramedic/firefighter and found that Alyssa had difficulty reaching the roof of their vehicle without his help.
The couple launched a Kickstarter campaign that reached $100,000 from 2,000 backers.
