NEWINGTON, CT — Fire Commissioner Francis "Rip" Callahan passed away unexpectedly Aug. 29.
"Commissioner Callahan proudly served our department and the commission for many years and his presence and dedication will be dearly missed," said Chief Chris Schroeder.
