Laser Quest has announced it will close after 27 years in business.
NEWINGTON, CT — After 27 years in business, Laser Quest will shut down permanently, according to its Facebook page. The Berlin Turnpike location in Newington shut down March 19 at the beginning of the pandemic.
"As much as we wanted to re-open, the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting uncertain economic climate have made the continued operation of our location next to impossible," they wrote.
Laser Quest specialized in birthday parties for all ages and described itself as "a family entertainment venue combining the classic games of hide-and-seek and tag with a high-tech twist." Up to 32 players could play in the multi-level arenas.
