Robert W. Allen, 94, of Newington, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, June 4, 2018.
Born in East Providence, RI on May 6, 1924, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Edith (Rogers) Allen. He served our country with great pride in the United States Navy during WWII. Bob was a longtime Newington resident, and prior to retirement was employed with Creed Monarch Inc giving many years of dedicated service.
Bob enjoyed fishing, going for long drives, trips to the casino, watching the horses run, following the Boston Red Sox, doing crossword puzzles, and taking care of his lawn, but he had a great passion and natural talent for the game of golf.
