Newington Police Arrest 3 Men For Vehicle Break-Ins

Three people were arrested for car break-ins last week.

NEWINGTON, CT — Police arrested three people accused of breaking into vehicles in the area of Ivy Lane and Centerwood Road. After receiving reports about break-ins, police arrived on the scene and apprehended Thomas Tanner, 30, of Portland, ME.

Two other suspects fled on foot. However, a police K-9 team was able to track down the two suspects on Urban Lane.

Paul Grandmaison, 41, of Portland, ME, spat on an officer and fought with K-9 when he was taken into custody. Daniel Marciano, 19, of Southington, fled while officers were taking Grandmaison into custody but was captured soon after.

All three charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Grandmaison was also charged with interfering with an officer, and assault on a police officer. Marciano was also charged with interfering with an officer.
