Newington Police Search For Suspect In Brawl That Led To Shooting

NEWINGTON, CT — Police are searching for a suspect pictured below who is alleged to have been involved in a large fight in the parking lot of Plaza Azteca July 1. Police said the man struck two men in the face with a pistol during the dispute, which caused the gun to fire off a round.

One person was struck with either a ricochet or bullet fragments, according to police. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

In another incident at Plaza Azteca in April, a double-stabbing incident occurred inside the restaurant leaving two people with serious injuries, police say. Four people in total were injured.
