Mary J. Cazzetta, 93, of Newington, beloved widow of Joseph Cazzetta, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Avery Heights. Born in New Britain, Mary was a daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Chiodo) Mastriani. As a longtime resident of Newington, she was employed by the Town of Newington and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. Mary is survived by her children Joseph G. Cazzetta, of Newington, Sandra Cunningham and her husband Daniel, Marcy Stamm and her husband Roger, all of Newington, her sister Phyllis Pfersick, of PA, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 3rd, at 11:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Mary’s Church, 626 Willard Ave, Newington and then lovingly laid to rest in West Meadow Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, is serving the family.
