State Officials Address Newington Car Break-Ins

State Senator Matt Lesser (D-Newington) and State Representative Gary Turco (D-Newington) have released the following statement's regarding the overnight car break-ins in Newington.

"It's important we take the necessary steps to keep our communities safe," said Sen. Lesser. "Last nights break-ins are disturbing. This is a state-wide problem and I'm willing to work with the town to ensure we have the tools necessary to safeguard property."

"I am outraged by the large amount of car break-ins that continue to target our community," said Rep. Turco. "Previous actions to reduce these incidents have not worked and we must quickly work together to find new solutions to prevent this from occurring."
