Suspected Vehicle Burglars Caught In Newington: Police
The incident occurred in the area of Eagle Drive and Jeffrey Lane in Newington.
NEWINGTON, CT — Three men and one juvenile were arrested on conspiracy to commit burglary charges Thursday after a witness said they were seen "actively looking into vehicles that were parked in residential driveways" in Newington, according to police.
Police were contacted about the incident — which occurred in the area of Eagle Drive and Jeffrey Lane — at about 12:30 a.m.
When officers approached, the four ran off. The 17-year old suspect was quickly apprehended by officers, and a perimeter was set to catch the others.

Two were caught hiding in bushes on Cherry Hill Drive, and the fourth was caught by a Cromwell police K-9 at another property on Cherry Hill Drive.

- Nathaniel Bravo, 20, of Hartford, who was charged with third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, and interfering with an officer
- Xavier Gomez, 20, of Waterbury, who was charged with criminal attempt to commit third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, and interfering with an officer
- Jensen Rodriguez, 18, of Hartford, who was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, interfering with an officer, and possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis
The juvenile was charged with similar offenses, and his case was referred to juvenile court.
