West Nile Virus Confirmed in Newington
Mosquitoes in Newington have tested positive for the West Nile virus.
NEWINGTON, CT — Test results on mosquitoes from Newington indicate the positive presence of West Nile virus, NBC Connecticut reported.
The test results were released Monday, making Newington the seventh Connecticut community to yield positive test results this year.
Symptoms of West Nile virus include fever, body aches, headaches, rash and conjunctivitis (pinkeye).
