ALDI Debuts Remodeled New Milford Store

The renovation is part of a $1.9 billion initiative to remodel and expand more than 1,300 ALDI stores nationwide by the end of 2020.

NEW MILFORD, CT — ALDI has renovated its store at 125 Danbury Road and is opening its doors to the public on Nov. 1.

The grocery chain has scheduled a ribbon-cutting ceremony for 8:30 a.m., along with a giveaway offering gift cards to the first 100 customers and a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year's supply of produce.

“Our remodeled store layout makes grocery shopping even more efficient. Customers can easily navigate the ALDI aisles and find real savings on every trip,” said Bruce Persohn, South Windsor division vice president for ALDI in a release. “We’re eager to reveal the new look of ALDI to New Milford, where we already have passionate, loyal customers.”

The new New Milford ALDI store layout provides additional refrigeration space, open ceilings,natural lighting and "environmentally-friendly building materials," according to a release. The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The renovation is part of a $1.9 billion initiative to remodel and expand more than 1,300 ALDI stores nationwide by the end of 2020. Locally, ALDI is investing more than $41 million to update 22 stores in Hartford-New Haven and the surrounding metropolitan area by the end of 2019.
