Arethusa al tavolo Featured at Governor's Ball

Arethusa al tavolo in Litchfield County was one of the premier restaurants highlighted at the Governor's Ned Lamont's Inaugural Ball at the Connecticut Convention Center/Hartford Marriott in Hartford on January 9, 2019. Forty-five state restaurants, vineyards, breweries and eateries were selected by the Governor's Inaugural Team for the evening's cuisine.

Samplings ranged from a delicious Butter Pouched Sole stuffed with Salsa Verde and served with a chickpea croquette from Arethusa al tavolo to gourmet hot dogs from Super Duper Weenie in the Town of Fairfield, which has been featured on the hit TV show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Luminaries at the Inaugural Ball included New Milford resident and actor Christopher Meloni of the TV show Happy!, who acted as emcee along with Jane Whitney. MSNBC Morning Joe's Joe Scarborough and his band provided the musical entertainment.
