Bridge Work to Cause Detours, Delays, in New Milford
A railroad rehabilitation project will shut down a section of River Road in New Milford for ten days.

NEW MILFORD, CT — A railroad rehabilitation project will shut down a section of River Road for ten days, beginning Friday morning.
Traffic will be detoured at 119 River Road onto Rooster Tail Hollow beginning Friday, Aug. 2, at 7 a.m. through Monday, August 12 at 5 p.m. or possibly sooner, according to Mayor Pete Bass.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area to prevent any delays.
