Five Guys Burgers Returns to Area

The 3,000 ft. franchise will be opening up across the street from the site of its former location on Federal Road.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Five Guys, known for its burgers, fries and those ubiquitous peanuts, has announced it is returning to Brookfield, reports the News-Times.

The new location next to Kohl’s on Federal Road, a popular fast-food strip where it will compete with franchises from Chick-fil-A, McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, Moe's Southwestern Grill and Wendy's. Five Guys had been across the street at 121 Federal Road before closing after a 10-year run.

Five Guys was founded in Washington, D.C., in 1986, and became a business media darling for its success franchising that local business, which it has done since 2003.
