Glenholme School Plans 5K Run for Autism

Glenholme's 5K Run for Autism is a family-friendly, dog-friendly event to be held on November 10, 2019.

The Glenholme 5K Run for Autism will start at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 10th at Steep Rock Preservation, 2 Tunnel Road, Washington Depot. This out-and-back course along the Shepaug River is one of the most scenic in Connecticut.

Pre-race registration, until November 9, is $20 for people and $10 for dogs. Race day registration is $25 for people. To register online prior to the event, go to Eventbrite.com and search for ‘Glenholme School.’ Race Day Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. The first 100 registrants will receive a high quality commemorative t-shirt.

Prizes will be awarded in all divisions including the top three registered dogs Special awards will be given to the top male and female finishers.

The Glenholme School a boarding and day school for students with high functioning autism spectrum disorders and various social, emotional and learning differences in Washington.
