Hometown Heroes Banner Project

Alexis Delmore, President of the Connecticut Society of the
Children of the American Revolution (C.S.C.A.R.), has
announced a project to honor First Responders that include
Veterans from 1775 to the present who live(d) or work in New
Milford. 50 Banners will be created that can include their
name, picture, rank and branch and dates of service. The
banners will be placed on the lamp posts around the New
Milford Green for Veterans Day 2020 and will remain for six
weeks.
There is no cost to the Veterans or the Veteran’s Family to have
a banner created. The deadline to provide your information is
August 1st (First-come, first-served basis).
