Hunt Hill Farm Sets Cooking Program for Kids

NEW MILFORD, CT -- Hunt Hill Farm is offering a number of weekly programs for kids and teens throughout the summer.

From Jul 16-20, the farm is running "Cook from the Farm and Garden." During this 5-day cooking series, the students will learn about where their food comes from and why that is important. Each day, the menu will be based on seasonal ingredients obtained from local farms. The program, designed for kids, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hunt Hill Farm has been a center of learning for over 45 years, offering public programs for children, youths and adults to nurture a deeper understanding of art, music, cooking, organic farming and land use. It is located at 44 Upland Road in New Milford.
