Kent Greenhouse And Gardens Wins National Awards

KENT, CT – Kent Greenhouse & Gardens is proud to announce they have been selected to receive two Awards of Excellence – a Gold Award and a Silver Award – by the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP).

These mark the first national awards for the firm. Both projects were designed by landscape architect Brian Cossari. The Gold Award went to an intricate pool environment overlooking Candlewood Lake. The Silver Award was given to a secluded backyard renovation in Roxbury.

“The pool project at our weekend home was nothing short of courageous,” said the Sherman homeowner of his Gold Award-winning property. “We were blown away by Brian’s creativity and "can do" attitude. He added some very slick elements that we could never have dreamed up!”

Both homeowners had glowing reviews for Cossari, who spent many hours, countless phone calls, and a number of revised phases to ensure each project would be perfect for his clients.

“I’m so grateful for this backyard getaway that Brian created for me,” Michael Allen said of his Silver Award-winning project. “Being unable to take any real vacations this year, I felt truly lucky to be able to escape to my country home and enjoy a little staycation instead!”

Each year, the NALP Awards of Excellence recognizes exceptional landscape and lawn care projects from around the nation. This year, 110 awards were bestowed for maintenance, design/build or contracting projects.
