MLB to host free youth baseball clinic in New Milford
Free baseball clinic from the pros for boys and girls presented by Family & Children's Aid and Fiduciam Financial Group

New Milford, CT: Major League Baseball’s former players organize clinics teaching baseball and life skills all across the country to teach kids about the game. And now in partnership with Family & Children’s Aid (FCA), and Fiduciam Financial Group they plan to host a clinic in New Milford for the first time. This clinic on June 23 is part of a series of free clinics in Connecticut offered with FCA.
Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association youth baseball clinic on Saturday, June 23, 2018. In conjunction with Family & Children’s Aid, the free clinic features current and former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for local youth.
The clinic will take place at New Milford High School running from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., located at 388 Danbury Rd, New Milford, CT 06776. The clinic will feature up to 10 former MLB players and the first 200 children to arrive will receive a free t-shirt, and an official Rawlings MLB Alumni baseball. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, base running and life skills. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the morning will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.
