Multiple Fire Companies Battle Easter Fire in New Milford
The blaze broke out the paper production machine at the Kimberly-Clarke Corporation
NEW MILFORD, CT — Multiple area fire companies were dispatched on Easter Sunday to combat a blaze at Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
Firefighters from Water Witch Hose Company No. 2 headquarters and Lanesville stations in New Milford, as well as units from Gaylordsville, Northville, Brookfield and Danbury’s air support truck from Citizen’s Hose, converged on the building at 58 Pickett District Road in the late afternoon.
The fire broke out in the paper production machine, according to a report from Water Witch Hose Company No. 2.

The one-alarm fire was extinguished in under a half hour, and no injuries were reported.
