New Milford to Hold Public Hearing on Budget

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Sarah Noble Intermediate School

NEW MILFORD, CT — Residents will have the opportunity to comment on the $102.6 million budget proposed by the Town Council at a public hearing on Saturday.

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at Sarah Noble Intermediate School, and will be held before the Board of Finance.

In its current form, the budget is about $533,000 above the current year's spending plan. The overage comes entirely from the school side of the plan, as the proposed town portion is about $97,400 less than the current town budget.
