New Milford July 4th Fireworks: 2018 Guide

Wondering where you can see fireworks as the Fourth of July approaches? Patch has you covered.

NEW MILFORD, CT --The 2018 New Milford Fireworks Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 7 with a rain date of Friday, July 27. The celebration is organized by the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce.

The celebration will be held on the green in downtown New Milford. The crossover of Green and Bank Street will be closed at 2 p.m.

  • 6:00 p.m.: The Women's Club of Greater New Milford will construct a giant birthday cake in honor of our nation's birthday.
  • 6:30 p.m.: Opening Ceremony
    • Welcome from the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce
    • Invocation: Rev. Alex da Silva Souto, Pastor New Milford United Methodist Church
    • National Anthem, performed by Perfect Timing
    • Pete Bass, Mayor of New Milford
    • Bill Buckbee, State Representative
  • 7:00 p.m.: Perfect Timing performs on the bandstand
  • Full Dark (approximately 9:30 p.m.): Fireworks will commence on Fort Hill/Stillmeadow

Note: Fort Hill Road, Peagler Hill and Town View will be closed during the fireworks.
